What to expect from the latest collection!

Over the course of our years carrying the Blush by Hayley Paige bridal collection, we’ve come to find that these dresses are perfect for the bride who wants it all! This weekend we’re hosting a trunk show for HP’s latest Blush collection (Fall 2016) and we cannot wait to see these multi-faceted beauties on our Boston brides! Here’s what you can expect from this fresh crop of stunners:

Modern straps – Spaghetti is great on your plate, but we’re looking for something new and fresh when it comes to our shoulders! Blush’s Fall 2016 collection has a huge number of strapped looks (8 out of 9!) that will make strapless haters happy, and their innovative designs make Flair (and you) happy!

Unique pops of skin – The illusion look has been super popular in recent years, and while we still love it, we’re happy to see Hayley Paige showcasing skin in new ways! Worried about showing too much flesh? Have no fear; HP knows how to show off your fab figure in the most elegant, wedding ready ways!

The underarm doesn’t typically get a ton of love, until now! Lanai gown, we heart ya!

Tulle – The ballgown is back, y’all! OK, so it never really went away but we are definitely seeing an increase in brides looking for that floaty, Cinderalla look, and lucky for them, Hayley Paige has taken notice! This new collection is full of beautiful and oh so bridal tulle that will have you looking and feeling like you’re floating on a cloud!

A Trend Report

On the heels of New York Fashion week, we have trends on the brain. Watching the collections walk the runway is basically like having someone say “Hint hint, this is what you should be wearing.” It’s perfect; you get to look at pretty clothes, spot celebrities in the front row, and stay on top of your fashion game all at the same time. The bridal world is no different; each collection gives brides a heads up on what is fresh and new in wedding wear. Seeing as how our Hayley Paige trunk show coincides with NYFW, we figured now was the perfect time for a HP trend report. Here’s what to look out for:

Florals – Hayley Paige is definitely known for her sparkle. I don’t think she has ever met bling she didn’t like, and you get to reap the benefit with her shining, stunning styles! In her latest collections, though, we’ve seen a major increase in another pretty detail – flowers! Whether it’s via embroidery, appliqués, or lace, florals have popped up more and more in her recent work, and we’re loving it!

Darker tones – Hayley’s got your back; she knows that white is not an easy color to wear, so she always fills her collections with plenty of hue options. Choices range from the still traditional ivory tones to the more modern blushes and blues. There’s truly something for everyone!

See ya strapless – Straps have made a major comeback in the past few years, and Hayley Paige’s collections are no exception. I think a big part of what we love about strapless is the subtle sex appeal, so HP always makes sure to pop some va va voom in other areas of her strapped designs, in the form of illusion details, low backs, and more!

A-line – In recent years, it seems like brides have been into the extremes when it comes to silhouettes. We saw tons of fitted mermaids, and plenty of voluminous ballgowns, but less options in the middle. Thankfully, Hayley Paige knows that brides like options, and she has provided them with beautiful a-line styles that are the perfect mix of flowy and fitted.

We have carried her other line, Blush by Hayley Paige, for some time now and are so in love with it that we simply had to add the original line to our collection, too! There are many similarities between the two lines that we think you’ll appreciate. Both feature lush, high quality fabrics, modern, fresh designs and a unique, stylish perspective that only Hayley Paige can provide.

Hayley’s fashion resume is substantial and diverse. She has worked with Nina Garcia at Elle Magazine, Jill Stuart ready to wear, and has designed for Melissa Sweet bridal as well as the first Marchesa Eternal bridal collection at Priscilla of Boston. All of that experience and hard work led to the start of her own label, and the dreamy, ethereal and irreverent gowns you see from her today!
